Applying Henna

Prior to the actual wedding day, whereby the bride's fingers and feet are being decorated with the dye from the "henna" leaves. Normally these custom is being carried about 1 or 2 days before the wedding.

These practise of apply "henna" is exceptional for the bridegroom, even though there are still who wears them over 2 or 3 fingers.

If you're wondering what is 'henna'; well, henna is a reddish brown dye obtained from the leaves of a tropical shrub. Once applied, the dye could last about 3 to 6 months.
